Draft for review. This page describes how Code Buddy actually works today, but it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer yet.
These terms cover your use of Code Buddy at codebuddy.myevent-labs.io, operated by MyEvent Labs. By using it you agree to them.
The service
- Code Buddy uses an AI model to suggest explanations and code changes. Suggestions can be incomplete or wrong. You're responsible for reviewing, testing and using any code.
- Free: 5 runs a day per network, single snippet up to 20,000 characters. Pro: up to 100 runs a day plus the Pro features described on the home page. We may change limits to keep the service running fairly, and we'll update this page if we do.
Your code
- You keep ownership of what you submit and of the suggestions you receive.
- Only submit code you're allowed to share with an AI service. Don't submit secrets, passwords or personal information about other people.
Acceptable use
No attempts to get around limits, overload the service, access other people's data, or use Code Buddy to build malware or for anything unlawful.
Pro billing
- Pro costs A$15 a month, charged in Australian dollars through our payment provider, and renews monthly until cancelled.
- To cancel, email hello@myevent-labs.io from the address you subscribed with.
- Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Code Buddy available but can't promise it will always be. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from your use of suggested code.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: hello@myevent-labs.io.
